The production of mathematical audio-podcasts in primary school (PriMaPodcasts) focuses on oral representation and communication. Producing PriMaPodcasts opens doors for learning, diagnosis as well as research.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Learning<\/strong>:\u00a0The exclusive use of oral representations can support learning. Refraining from the use of any written or graphical representations and relying solely on oral means of communication allows learners to deal with a topic in depth.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Diagnosis<\/strong>:\u00a0A teacher gains insight into a learner\u2019s mathematical concept and idea by listening to the learner\u2019s recorded utterances. The spontaneous and planned recordings can be analyzed during and after the production process.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Research<\/strong>:\u00a0Mathematics is a written and graphically based science. As such, the focus on oral representations poses as an interesting area for research. Therefore, using the recordings, we aim to investigate to what extent learners use mathematical language as well as what kind of mathematical language is available for young bilingual learners in order to convey meaning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>[DE]\u00a0<\/strong>Die Nutzung digitaler Medien erm\u00f6glicht es den Fokus auf bestimmte Kommunikationsweisen zu richten. Bei der Erstellung von mathematischen Audio-Podcasts in der Primarstufe (\u201aPriMaPodcasts\u2019) geht es um m\u00fcndliches Darstellen und Kommunizieren. Die Erstellung von \u201aPriMaPodcasts\u2019 er\u00f6ffnet M\u00f6glichkeiten zum Lernen, zur Diagnose und zum Forschen.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Lernen<\/strong>: Durch die ausschlie\u00dfliche Nutzung der m\u00fcndlichen Darstellungsebene wird das mathematische Lernen unterst\u00fctzt. Die Lernenden setzen sich intensiv mit den zu vermittelten Inhalten auseinander.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Diagnose<\/strong>: Indem die Lehrperson die \u00c4u\u00dferungen anh\u00f6rt, bekommt sie Einblick in die mathematischen Vorstellungen und Denkweisen der Lernenden. Die spontanen und geplanten Aufnahmen k\u00f6nnen w\u00e4hrend und nach dem Erstellungsprozess analysiert werden.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Forschung<\/strong>: Da Mathematik eher eine schriftlich-grafisch basierte Wissenschaft ist, ist es interessant zu erfahren was passiert, wenn der Fokus auf der m\u00fcndlichen Darstellungsweise gelegt wird.
